Remind me again when the Libby little quilt reveal is supposed to happen - is it March 1st or April 1st?

Is the fat 1/4 swap on? Is there a deadline? Seems this topic just lost steam...

Thank you so much Lois. Yes to all the above. You are very thoughtful. DIL just sent me a link to a very short video that said that grandparents who babysit are less likely to get Alzheimer's or dementia. LOL. Hubby skis everyday, and I join him once in a while,(Xcountry) if it's above -10C.
I can knit while bbsitting, but not quilt. :)

Terrie, I did look your DIL's Brown Eggs and Jam Jarsup on Amazon and read the blurb about her book. It sounds as if she is a very creative young woman and the book sounds very interesting to me. It promotes Urban Gardening and healthier eating/cooking. You should be very proud and happy those Grandies are getting such good nourishment. I must also say this news is especially good in that it indicates you are well enough to care for the little ones. I hope you aren't overdoing. Having the little ones around might also help your newly retired husband interesting diversion. Hoping he is helping you.

Congratulations to your DIL Terrie. I will have to look that one up. Have fun grandma time and hope you can sneak in some quilting.

I hope prewashed is okay since I do the same as you and if it's coming out of my stash, that's what you'll get. This was Rosemary's idea, as usual. I think she's our idea gal.

Almost all of my fabric is pre-washed...is that okay? I usually come home from a shopping trip and dump them into the washing machine.

BTW - can we cut from our yardage, and send same or similar more than one person?

i REALLY miss the personal info that used to be on the profiles  , like what your favourite colours are, what kind of quilter you are, traditional, modern etc. I often used to refer to that info before making a mug rug. Now it's going to be hit and miss...

Who wants to make this a 'new topic"? Whose idea was it in the first place?

Well done to your daughter in law.

You missed out Rita me and several others going for a tour moose hunting in Nancy's back yard and dropping off at various sewing rooms on the way. Have you posted your sewing area yet. As it is and no tidying up :cheer:

Oh. My. Goodness. A gal goes away for a few days and comes back to a quilt forum thread totally re-invented.

Can't think I would be able to aptly comment on all the goings-on, but you gals have been busy! Moose, chocolate, sympathies for a dog (hope I'm right) and a stash exchange or swap? Whoa!

Just tell me what to do. I'm in, even though I'm not sure what I'm committing to. See, I trust you LL. ;)

It's February now, so I guess it's time to share chocolate...over on BOM 2015. I'll have to check it out - haven't even gotten there yet. I just got my Tulip needles and glue stick ( like Rita's), so now I can put my windows on.

BTW - allow a little boast - my personal story - My DIL is just launching her new cookbook - "Brown Eggs and Jam Jars" by Penguin. You can still get the pre-order price as the 'official' launch date is Feb 10. It's really much more than a cookbook - I'm so proud of her. Amazon, Chapters or Indigo. So proud of her. I will be babysitting while she goes around on the book tour. Don't know how much quilting I will get done, as I usually nap when the baby does.
