Hi all
I am ready to mail my HST. It will probably be on Monday. I will let you know the day I mail them.. I labeled all my bags (22) with my screen name, full name and address and the number (28) enclosed. Each HST is labeled with the City, State and Country. I have two of the Priority Mail envelopes but I'm going to check the difference between that and sending it Parcel Post. Just want to confirm that I am sending these to Debbie Wolf, TQS Exchange, PMB #9, 5554 South Peak Rd., Katy , Tx 77450-7130. I am so excited and appreciate all the time that you are putting into this great project. I was at my quilt guild meeting last night and showed them what I was doing. They said they wished they had known because they would have participated. Sadly, I told them there was a deadline and they were to late. This is so awesome I can't wait to see what I get back.
I once did an internet block exchange that was inspired by what happened on 911. The blocks were civil war period blocks and they were each marked where the block originated from, the date and the signature. I had to make 30 of the same blocks and send it to the coordinator of the exchange and I received 30 different blocks. I even found some beautiful Civil WarToile fabric that I used for backing.

Mildred, the only thing you need to change is the street name..it should be spelled 'Peek'.
Have you thought about starting a local exchange with your Guild? Depending on how many participate, it shouldn't be too complicated. The guidelines I used were based on those we used when we did a guild exchange with Edyta, so with a little tweaking, they could be used anywhere.
If you have a picture of your 911 quilt, maybe you could post it on this Forum for everyone to enjoy. I bet that Toile fabric is beautiful!
Regular parcel post is probably much cheaper than Priority and many of the return envelopes I've received do have stamps only. From what I've seen, members have been using the same amount of stamps as they used to mail it to me. What ever option works best for you is fine at this end.
I'll look forward to receiving your package next week.
