THE APRIL 1ST DEADLINE HAS COME AND GONE!! AS OF SUNDAY, APRIL 3, I HAVE RECEIVED 551 PACKAGES CONTAINING 220,445 HSTs. I'M STILL WAITING ON ONLY NINE PACKAGES THAT ARE ALREADY ON THEIR WAY TO TEXAS.

THAT SHOULD PUT THE FINAL COUNT AT 560 PACKAGES, BUT WHO KNOWS HOW MANY HSTs. DOESN'T LOOK LIKE WE'LL MAKE THE QUARTER MILLION MARK AND IT ONLY ABOUT 10% OF MEMBERS WHO ORIGINALLY SIGNED UP DID NOT PARTICIPATE. [/color]

RIGHT NOW I ONLY HAVE ABOUT 18 EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS THAT I AM WAITING TO RECEIVE PACKAGES FOR AND 2 OF THOSE ARE INTERNATIONAL. AT THIS RATE, WE WILL NOT HAVE NEARLY AS MANY PARTICIPANTS AS ANTICIPATED, HOWEVER, IT WILL STILL BE A MONUMENTAL GROUP EFFORT ON SORTING DAY. IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU GET YOUR PACKAGES POSTED RIGHT AWAY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE INTERNATIONAL, IN ORDER TO MEET THE APRIL 1ST DEADLINE.

DON'T FORGET TO SEND ME AN EMAIL WHEN YOU DO AND BE SURE TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE THE U.S. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM MANY MORE OF YOU REAL SOON.

IF YOU ARE INTERNATIONAL, IT WILL SURELY TAKE LONGER THAN ONE WEEK TO GET TO THE STATES, PLEASE SEND THEM AIR MAIL OR SOME TYPE OF PRIORITY POSTAGE AND REMEMBER TO INCLUDE AN ADDRESS LABEL, & COPY OF PAYPAL RECEIPT FOR SUFFICENT RETURN POSTAGE...NO RETURN ENVELOPES, PLEASE. RETURN ENVELOPES WILL NOT BE USED TO RETURN YOUR PACKAGE SINCE WE WILL BE USING ONLY THE FLAT RATE INTERNATIONAL MAILERS.

IF YOU ARE IN THE U.S., IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL IF YOU COULD GET THEM MAILED TODAY OR MONDAY AT THE LATEST.

If you have not included sufficient postage for your package, that way it will go back to you to pay the extra postage and not me. Plus the fact that my P.O. Box will be closed after all the packages are received and your HST's could be lost forever.

SoTTT's Members -- please, ya gotta help me out here!! I received 13 packages today and only 6 had the screen name and HST count posted on the outside of the envelope, which meant I had to open the package and go through it to find out who and how many.
That's not so difficult now since there are not that many, but it does take time. And once I start receiving 20,30,40 a day, it will take me all day to sort through them if you don't do it correctly.

ATTENTION, ATTENTION, ATTENTION SISTERHOOD AND BROTHERHOOD MEMBERS!!!

This is very exciting news...Alex Anderson is joining our exchange. She will be making enough HST's so there will be one for each member.

AND RICKY'S ON BOARD, TOO!!! How cool is that!

She said she would write "Alex' on each of the triangles, on the fabric rather than on the paper, but she would like to know if that's OK with everyone.

Hmmmm...I can't imagine we're going to have anyone say 'NO' , but she's leaving it up to you!! What do you say???

Ladies and Gentlemen: You really do need to send me an email letting me know that you've mailed your package. That way I can let you know that I received it without having to look you up in the Forum. You should also include your screen name & the # of HST's on the outside of the envelope or mailer. I received three packages today and I had only been notified that one of them was on it's way.
We are going to be receiving so many packages in the next several weeks that unless you notify me, I can't notify you I received it. It's easy to do...just click on View My TQS Profile under my picture and send it from there. Please don't use the Private Messaging since I need to keep those emails in a separate folder.

Another important bit of information: The three domestic packages of HST's I received yesterday were all mailed in envelopes (and one of those included 588 HTS in an 11"x14" Tyvek Priority Mailing Envelope available for both International & Domestic) with plenty of room remaining for those members to include a second stamped-self addressed envelope of the same size. Please consider the envelope option first. Having those already prepared return mailers is going to be a huge help for us. And remember we want them in increments of 28!!! The 588 HSTs correctly equaled 21 increments of 28). They don't have to be packaged in individual baggies of 28...they can all be in one med/large Ziploc. Pack carefully so they don't wrinkle!
