FINALLY!!!!! I got on the scale and to my huge amazement....I lost 3 lbs!!!!!! Of course, it might be the few pounds that I had gained...but stilll, I am going in the right direction!!! What did I do different??? Not sure. Went to Curves 2x...averaged 6000+ steps per day. Stopped the diet sodas (which I just read can cause kidney problems) and drank more water. ***ding!!!! That is a light bulb moment! Well girls, whatever it is...I 'm feeling really good! Hope you had a good week too! :D

I have been struggling with all the issues of taking control of my life this week....the monkeys are dancing around me faster than I can control. Been good about getting to Curves, but seem to be very bad with the water drinking. I sure hope to be better this next week.

Had this all typed and the hit something by mistake and erased it all. Maybe it was a subconscious act. You see, I GAINED 8/10 of a pound this week. My internet was out for an entire week. Just got it back today. Apparently, keeping up with my WW points on the computer on a daily basis was doing more good than I realized. I also didn't exercise this week (again). I have just got to make myself do that somehow.

I have lost another pound. Really was thinking that it would be more, but I think hormones are wonky here at the end of the week.

Have a physical, including submaximal stress test on Tuesday, so I will have confirmation of how out of shape I am. On the plus side, I will at least have accurate information to work with for setting new goals. :?

I am really motivated when I start the week and then it just seems that Life gets in the way during the remainder!!!! I didn't have a great week. Couldn't make it to Curves and didn't get my walks in (by choice...sad to say). My steps were way off too. I need to go back and restate my goals for this week...starting with water. This is a real struggle for me :(

You and me both, Carol! Out of sight.....out of mind!! It really helps when that stuff is not even in the house!

I'm managing to stay about 4 pounds under what my goal weight was, but some days I still have the urge to eat things that I KNOW will set me back on the wrong path! (Things like gooey desserts and nice salty chips!) I just have to stay out of those aisles at the grocery store.

Only down a pound this week and unfortunately couldn't get back to the fitness center after Monday. Not going makes me feel like a slug now. I picked up an extra day at work to help out and Wednesday was full of appointments. I did make a point to walk on the treadmill on those days but it doesn't feel the same. Next week should be better.

I can't believe it's Friday again already!

I lost 1.6 pounds this week, however I credit part of it to a stomach bug, and definitely would not recommend it as a weight loss option!

The bean and kale soup was a good comfort food when I didn't feel good otherwise!

Hope everyone has had a good week...........

I saw the personal trainer today for my fitness evaluation. I amazed myself. I scored better than 74% of women my age. I need work on body mass (duh) and flexibility. After the eval I swam 20 laps. I am just loving the swimming.

I am traveling again and so my exercising is minimal...unless you take mouth muscles into consideration...they have been getting a good workout. No gain for the past 2 weeks and no loss, but I can tell that my getting to Curves again has made a difference in how the jeans fit...yippee!. Back home in 2 days and better healthier eating should help move that needle off the mark it has been glued to lately. 8 lbs altogether is a possitive and I aim for more! :)
Love the exercising the mouth muscles...mine must be in top form!!!!! Karen

Well, I have lost another pound! YEA! I really feel like I am getting stronger. I just wish that my figure and the scale would reflect the same thing.
Saw my allergist this week and she recommended a couple of ideas to help with my breathing, congestion, and migraines and it is working! It is SOOOOOOOOO great to wake up and not feel like someone parked a small truck on your face overnight! :D
