I have been smiling as I read each of the posts about someone losing weight. It makes me happy to know the feeling of accomplishment each of you has due to your successes. Continue to do what you are doing. Good health and happiness to all.

Terrie,
Thanks for the link and I'll check the store out this summer when I go to Ontario to visit many quilting friends all over, but especially Ottawa.

Hmmm...does a British pound buy more than a dollar? (Cdn or US?))

check out http://www.hyggeligt.com for almost all Kaffe fabric in Canada, and go to the shop if you are in London, Ontario. Yummy!

Well done, Rita! Four pounds is a lot.

I was wondering if I should reward myself with a Fat Quarter for every pound I loose...... But in my case that would get rather expensive (59 FQs so far). So I decided not to count like that but spent £59 on fabrics from Oakshott. :)

And I'm so proud of you, maybe I'll get $59 worth of fabric for myself to help you celebrate!

Lorchen, what an excellent idea! I'll join you in buying fabric when enough pounds are lost to go on a Kaffe Fasset spree. A great reward for our hard work.

Lorchen, I have been telling my sister that I need to lose some weight as I have graduated to my fat trousers, all the others are too small and I need to lose weight. I will start today. Your success is encouraging me to get rid of the Christmas excess. Thank you.

Or 2lb butter to my way of thinking. Good for you Lorchen. You have inspired me to get the few pounds off that have been coming between me and my favourite jeans - so far 4lb! :D
