I've just posted the September block, berries went on early evening, hence it's nearly dark outside. Now I'll be making berries, berries, and more berries for October

Maggie ...Really like your block. I haven' t started mine yet ...just printed it out. I'm busy quilting the other eight blocks....I am going to make three wallhangings with 4 blocks in each. Don't have anyone else who needs a quilt..and I have a double wedding ring one that I made for myself. Keep up the great work. And be sure to keep us informed about your new machine. Nan :) :) :)

Nan, I understand about making wallhangings instead of quilts. I am making wallhangings from one of my quilt shop hop blocks (boy, is that a mouthful!)

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I actually had fused and cut out another fabric for the vase, but changed my mind, and I think this one is definitely better. This was a much easier block. I think I am going to get started on next months circles!

Maggie, Love the block! Boy, you are speedy. Printed the pattern and fused all my fabrics but now I have to machine applique. Will be finished in a couple of days. Camille

Oooh, I didn't mean to be the first one done, but looks like I am. Picture is posted on my profile. I used Sue's technique of making circles, and is it very sweet! :D

Just got the call that my new Janome 11000 has been delivered to the LQS. But I can't pick it up until Thursday  . Bummer.

Maggie in E. Central Illinois, where it was warmer today than it was during most of August. At least no hurricanes here!

I've finished the September block yesterday, well all except the 5 yellow/orange berries, those will get done tonight, and I should be able to post tomorrow. Since I had no plans yesterday I thought I might as well tackle the block and get it done. I can't wait for the IQF and see the current BOM on display and equally interested in seeing the new one starting in January. Fun times just keep coming our way. Heidi

Heidi, you are just way to quick! I'm just now going to pick my fabrics. Looking forward to seeing your block.
