My dad will turn 100 and is expecting a "party". Assuming he is still with us I will be with him. I just watched the show with Sue and sounds like she will be doing another BOM for '09. Meeting in St. Louis for a bus trip would be great for me. I have a cousin who lives in an Illinois suburb. All the logistics still have a long time to ferment and come together. Maggie in E. St. Louis feels a bit out of the way for us down here in Texas! The caravan sounds like fun, but it's probably going to come down to practicality - such as

1. How much more time does it take to all meet somewhere vs
2. How fast can i get there so I can spend more time in La Veta?
3. How many days off will I have? ? for travel ? for BOM stuff

I trust we'll have it all worked out by October, so never fear..........not to worry!

DH plays golf....hasn't for years, though. Not sure if his EGO can stand playing for first time in years with total strangers! LOL

But I can visualize him strolling down the streets of LaVeta meeting all the locals and finding everyone's 'story.' He's really good at that. Since we are both from 'small town America' it will feel like coming home again!
