The only quilt you see is the quilt made by the person preceeding you on the list. If you want to see them all you have to go to Scotland, May 2014.

Yes Terrie, you are correct. I got my inspiration from a photograph that I was sent. I then made a quilt inspired by the photo. This is then sent to the next person on the list, who this time is Marilyn. I sent it to Lorna as she is in the US military and will get things sent quicker and safer to the US than I could. Marilyn gets inspired by my quilt (hopefully) and makes her own quilt. She then sends this to the next person on the list and sends my one back to me. When everyone has sent on the quilt they made they send the inspiration one back to me as the caretaker of the Chinese Whisper Quilts.

That's great service so far. Maureen posted that she mailed the quilt on 11/19 and Lorna posts recieving it 11/21. Almost as good as "overnight"! Our Priority Mail Service here in the states is great. When I send packages to my daughter in NV the package usually arrives on her doorstep in 3 days.

I posted the quilt First class post to Lorna on Monday 19th and she received it the next day - Tuesday,

so it didn't take very long at all. It will be interesting to see how long it takes from Lorna to Marilyn.

Now I can back into the swing of things and make a wall hanging for my daughter’s new large extension.
