Here is some info for people participating from outside of the United States regarding the postage on the return package. I went the the US postal service website and was able to sign in and create a mailing label. I think this will work although I only went as far as the payment page because I have to know my mailing date and the weight of the package. Here are instructions if you are interested--there is a choice of many countries world wide.
1. Go to http://www.usps.com
2. Sign in (you will have to create an account if you don’t have one)
3. Select “Click-N-Ship” from under the heading Prepare to Ship
4. Select your country (province if you are in Canada)
5. Select “go”
6. Enter the Return Address (I used the address we are to ship the triangles to—Put the box number as Address 2 and the street address as address 1)
7. Enter your address in the send to portion of the page. Make sure you have the correct country selected.
8. Select “continue”
9. Select “priority mail international small flat rate box” or "priority mail international flat rate evelope"
10. Select “continue”
11. Under “enter package information” –
a. contents – select gifts (or an appropriate selection from the drop down menu)
b. Contents description – Fabric
c. Comments – 2 inch fabric squares for exchange
12. Under “enter item information” –
a. Detailed description – (amount) 2 inch fabric squares
b. Item Value – (I entered $15)
c. Quantity - (I entered 1 because you cannot get the weight to go small and then you will have too much weight compared to the package weight)
d. Item weight – enter weight in pounds
13. Select “continue”
14. At the “Print shipping labels” page – review your shipping label
15. If all the information is correct, then select “continue”
16. Payment Method – “use a credit card” and enter your billing information.
17. Select “continue” – print label on 8.5 x 11 sheet

I really like the idea of signing our HSTs. To keep it simple I plan to only put down my TQS screen name. When I receive HSTs identified by screen name, I will then have the pleasure and excitement of looking up "sisters" to find out where they are from. This will also give me their contact information to say thank you. Who knows what will transpire beyond that.

I joined several days ago but neglected to say how many I would send. I plan to send 112.

My non-quilting friend asked me what in the world I could possibly do with a bunch of 2 inch triangles - so many choices came to mind! Happy triangles, everyone. Making them will be easier than deciding what to do with them!

BREATHE. BREATH. BREATHE. If you are signed up BREATHE.

The HST are due APRIL 1st. You have some time. If you are done early and want to ship early then great. The deadline was give our international quilters a chance.

Today's deadline is just to say Hey I'm in. That's all. Breathe and then go play. Clara

I'm in! I also have 3 friends who are in, but I don't know their "TQS" log-in names, as soon as I do, I'll e-mail one of you:

Beth Griesbaum, Saint Joseph, MIchigan
Marcia McCavit, Saint Joseph, Michigan
Marilu Patzkowski, Saint Joseph, Michigan
Kim Otte, Stevensville, Michigan

Thanks! We can't wait!!!

TQS quilters. If you have friends and family members that aren't members, there are two choices. Have them sign up for a basic membership which I think is free or have them mail them to you and you send us the whole package under your name. Clara

This sounds like fun. I ordered Edyta's book and the papers. I'm haivng shoulder surgery on Tuesday, so I'm unsure how many I will be mailing. Thank you for organizing this.
You have until April 1st to mail in your HST. So, here is your motto. Heal - stitch - heal - stitch - heal - mail. Take care of you and then we can swap. Clara
