TOPIC: SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TRIANGLES EXCHANGE

Re: SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TRIANGLES EXCHANGE 26 Jan 2011 19:11 #55284

I know that Edyta, Ricky & Alex have many committments making them super busy people! Not to mention that they are traveling right now but it sure would be nice to get a HST from them or maybe we could have a drawing/contest to get a few? (Just a random thought)
BTW, do they know how wildly popular this has become? It's almost like the Susan Boyle You Tube Phenomenon! See what you all started

I'm signed up for the exchange already, but I just wanted to offer to help Debbie and Clara if you need it. I live in Spring and would be available pretty much any time.

I've gotten so excited watching the list grow! I'm glad to be a part of it.

I have already signed up (and started sewing) and now my daughter Karen wants to jump in. She is not a member, so I will mail her's with mine. She plans to make 224.

I have been trying to find out how to SIGN UP for the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles Exchange" but cannot locate where and how to sign up. Hopefully this is the place that will work since today is the last day to sign-up. Please let me know if this works....

I really like the idea of signing our HSTs. To keep it simple I plan to only put down my TQS screen name. When I receive HSTs identified by screen name, I will then have the pleasure and excitement of looking up "sisters" to find out where they are from. This will also give me their contact information to say thank you. Who knows what will transpire beyond that.

Barbara, We not asking people to include their names on each triangle, but we would really, really like for everyone to add their state/country so the recipients will know where they traveled from? Adding your screen name is great too.

Debbie

Really like the idea of having state/country and whatever info on the papers. I intend to scan as many at a time as will fit on a piece of copy paper and then print on fabric to use on the back of the quilt. Couldn't bear to throw them away without documenting somehow.

What an absolutely terrific idea, Barbara. Everyone in SISTERHOOD/BROTHERHOOD land, take note of Barbara's idea to scan the papers then print them on fabric to use on the back of the quilt. I'm thinking maybe we need to start another forum topic so our Sisterhood members can post their great ideas and suggestions such as Barbara's...if we start a new forum exclusively for this subject, the ideas won't get lost within our 63 pages and 939 posts. Any ideas what we could call the new forum??
