I was right..scary ! And I just love it. Pink and all...We are always our own biggest critic....knowing
where the boo-boos are....and in a photo here I can't see much if any..... It just will take a long time to
use up the scraps at that rate!
Some of the imperfections stick out like a sore thumb to me (at the moment) and no I didn't starch the fabrics or anything I just started with the off cuts from my WotRott backing and then dug into my scrap box. Wasn't totally going for total perfection this time around, just fun and can I do I it, without it driving me up the wall. Although I probably will slow down and starch the next one.

I might well do at that. Although I still love the pattern and am contemplating doing another one to see if I can get it a bit more accurate next time. If I do, I will probably enter that one instead. I admit to a bit of rushing with this one, just to see if I could.

Quilting New Year's Resolutions for 2015???

Approx. 8 3/4" square. Each strip was 3/16 wide finished (except when I went a bit wonky) It was much easier to sew on my treadle than on my modern Janome, because of the needle plate and teeth are closer together.
Lovely work Annis. I really like that quilting design. Having tried a few long-arm machines at a couple of shows I know that it's not that easy to do it well so I am very impressed.
Rosemary, I love that weed-whacker block and keep thinking about doing one myself. Well done.
