I'd like to finally quilt the first BOM....2008 wasn't it? I keep looking at it and trying to decide how I want to do it and work up enough nerve to start.

Quilting New Year's Resolutions for 2015???

I have 4 quilt tops to be quilted so they will have to get done this coming year. One is the 2013 BOM! My plan is to remind myself to enjoy the quilting part of this hobby rather than dread it. I learn a lot with each quilt I complete so by the time I am 90 I should have it down to a fine art.

I really plan to take my time with the 2014 BOM. AND, by starting on those quilts for my grandsons, surely I will use up so much fabric that I will be able to RUN to the quilt shop to get just the right fabric to finish them up, don't you think?

Quilting New Year's Resolutions for 2015???

I want to improve my actual quilting and bindings this year. I have several show quilts I have already figured out, but I think that although my quilting is not too bad, it needs to improve. So I will be working on that this year. I also plan on making several quilts before buying any more fabric (unless I need a piece to fill in a missing piece). I also have a book I'm writing on applique and have to come up with projects that will work for the book. Sew I'm going to be busy, but it all sounds like fun to me.

Quilting New Year's Resolutions for 2015???

I would also like to finish the 2014 TQS BOM...and the 2009 TQS BOM. I think on that one I just have to sew on the last border of stars and quilt it. Then I have 2 quilt tops I made through a LQS in TX...it was those $5 quilts where if you bring in the finished block you get the next month free. One is layered and ready for quilting and the other needs layering and quilting. Then there is the quilt top that my great-grandma made that is layered and needs quilting.
I'll be thrilled if I could get most of these projects done by June when everything will get packed up.

Quilting New Year's Resolutions for 2015???

Anyone made resolutions on quilt projects for 2015? My first resolution is to enjoy finishing the 2014 BOM, take my time, and make it my best quilt ever. Then, each of my three adult grandsons have asked for a queen or king quilt for Christmas next year. (Bonnie Hunter comes to mind here!) What about you? What is on your list for 2015?
