Claudia Clark Myers and Marilyn Badger's quilt, Nighthawk - 84" x 84", won 1st Place Large Quilts - Movable Machine Quilted at Paducah 2017. The quilting techniques included, Fused Appliqué, Machine Appliqué, Free-Motion Quilting, Fabric Painting, Foundation Piecing, Paper Piecing and Machine Piecing. (Whew!) Congratulations.

She used Hand Appliqué, Bias Work, Hand Embroidery, Free-Motion Quilting, Hand Piecing, and Paper Piecing. It was quilted by Chong Dropik. "Memories of Monet combines two traditional blocks that I could use to create four-pointed stars, diagonal lattices, and illusionary circles. The fabric combination was inspired by a Monet garden fabric that was featured in each star block; hence the name."
