Claudia Clark Myers and Marilyn Badger's quilt, Nighthawk - 84" x 84", won 1st Place Large Quilts - Movable Machine Quilted at Paducah 2017. The quilting techniques included, Fused Appliqué, Machine Appliqué, Free-Motion Quilting, Fabric Painting, Foundation Piecing, Paper Piecing and Machine Piecing. (Whew!) Congratulations.

Wow! I could only dream of doing work like that. The design, the, piecing, applique and the quilting...Wow!

Far Out!!!! That is just amazing - so many techniques and then the wonderful quilting to set it off. A well deserved first place.

There is so much energy in the quilt. It is almost like looking at a fancy dance. The perssision is incredible.
