Lisa Sipes has collaborated with a number of people to make some stunningly beautiful quilts. Here is just a sample, plus a peek at her pink Gammill.

Quoting Stitchgirl78:
In an attempt to learn more about Lisa Sipes, I have come up empty handed as to any recent quilting. Her blog - That Crazy Quilty Girl abruptly stops in March 2014, and her face book page posts - Lisa Sipes Quilting/Thatcrazyquiltygirl stop in August 2014. Is Lisa still quilting?

Nope. She quit abruptly and didn't respond to ANY attempts at communication. I had a couple of friends who had sent tops to her for quilting - it took a couple of years for them to get their unquilted tops back. :(

I have the same question that Stitchingirl78 has. I so enjoyed seeing her quilting and her fun with her cat and now dogs. It really hurts my heart to hear about her accident. It seems she has more trials than most of us see in a lifetime. If there is anything that we, as the quilting community, can do...Please let us know. She is a treasure.

Wishing Lisa Sipes the best possible outcome from her terrible injury. She is on a challenging road. I watched episode 1506 to learn more about Lisa and was so struck by the irony of Nola Embrie's story appearing in the same episode. I hope Nola and many other quilters who have overcome steep odds can inspire Lisa when the time is right.
