This looks like some kind of Gordian or Celtic knot. What do you think it's called? Play the game and find out.

A beautiful digital photograph was the starting point for this visually stunning representation of Antelope Canyon in Arizona. Vicki Bohnhoff put some interesting animals in the clouds. Can you find them?
Antelope Canyon was on display in the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018 as part of the Landscape Quilt exhibit.
We're highlighting Victoria Findlay Wolfe who currently has an exhibit, Playing with Purpose: A Quilt Retrospective, at the National Quilt Museum. The exhibition will be up until October 8th. Enjoy this walk through the exhibit with Victoria and then watch her here at TQS in:

Nina was given an "assignment" to create a quilt from a box of fat quarters and an embroidery collection. We love the bright, bold and beautiful look of the quilt she made.

Sapphire is said to represent purity of the soul. In the Middle Ages, it was worn by priests as protection from temptation, and warriors presented their young wives with sapphire necklaces so they would remain faithful. It was believed that the stone’s color would darken if worn by an unworthy person.
Sapphires were also once believed to be protection against snakes. It was believed that if poisonous reptiles or spiders were placed in a container containing the stone, the creatures would immediately die. In the 13th century, the French believed that sapphire transformed stupidity to wisdom and irritability to good humor.
Marilyn Lone was inspired by the Kīlauea volcano to create her quilt, Lava. She knew she couldn't really get close, so she used her imagination to recreate the Lava bursting forth to create new land.
Lava was on display at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2018 as part of the Landscape Quilts exhibit.
A few years back Pam Holland sent us a wonderful video. Watch closely to see if it's a picture of flowers or a picture of a quilt. It's not always easy to tell as Pam is a marvelous quilter. It's clear how nature influences her quilting. So, take a stroll through Monet's Garden with Pam and The Quilt Show.
BERNINA Educator Nina McVeigh created their Block of the Month 2018 quilt to help improve piecing and quilting techniques. It was created with Alison Glass fabric. We love the use of color against the dark background. (The color is actually a bit off in this photo. The background is more gray.)
