A beautiful digital photograph was the starting point for this visually stunning representation of Antelope Canyon in Arizona. Vicki Bohnhoff put some interesting animals in the clouds. Can you find them?

Antelope Canyon was on display in the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018 as part of the Landscape Quilt exhibit.

I don’t care for quilts that are not pieced. Any non quilter can have a photo printed on fabric , give it out to be quilted and finished and call it their own. It is being done and I call it cheating. I respect a quilt like this much more if it is pieced and using techniques.

Truly stunning! Obviously an amazing photograph of a the original Artistry. Your rendition on fabric is not only realistic but poetic in the shades of your stitching. The addition of your two sweet critters gives an edge of playfulness. I love this piece with the mostly warm colors and a pop of cool sky. The soothing flow of lines makes it especially peaceful.

skirry, my apologies. I really did think it was pieced. I've seen art quilts that did look printed and discovered they were piece.

The quilt is still beautiful!

Thanks everyone. StudioWest in Anthem AZ did the printing onto cotton from Morrie’s Photograph. The lizard is facing to the right with right-side hands on edge of clouds. I put a spine with ribs down through center.

I think this piece is pieced so you'll have to do a bit more work to copy this beautiful piece of work.

If you'd like to have one of you're own photos printed on fabric try Spoonflower's website for information

I have many photos from Antelope Canyon. How did you have it printed on fabric? I’d like to try this as a wall hanging.

A very realistic and beautiful quilt.
Looks like a similar photograph I saw
online last year.
I am sorry to say that, although, I tried really hard I did not find the pronghorn antelope or the lizard.
Well done congratulations .
