Have you ever wondered how fabric is printed? Robert Kaufman CEO Ken Kaufman provided a video to give all quilters and fabric enthusiasts a behind-the-scenes look at the printing process. Then get a peek at how TQS guest Jennifer Sampou's (Show 2706) line of fabric is digitally printed in the second video below. Enjoy!

And now, here's how Jennifer Sampou's fabric is printed today!

I have always wondered what it takes to make fabric. This was so enlightening, and I loved seeing the entire process. Applause! A great film. It certainly is labor intensive from start to finish. The machinery is incredible. For the next film, I want to see the workers making the dyes. I think that would also be interesting. I have a new appreciation for my stash of fabric. ---- Martha Frey, Lancaster, PA

This is amazing to watch from start to finish. I won't complain about the price of fabric after seeing this. Thanks for showing us the process.

Thanks so much for sharing Kens wee documentary! I always want to know how things happen. This goes a long way to help me understand why the cost of fabric Has climbed. We are blessed to be able to enjoy such high quality “art supplies”!
