It's great to be an award-winner, but what's it like when your spouse is a winner too? Peter Hayward of Javea, Alicante, Spain won 2nd Place Appliqué Small and Viewer's Choice at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018. However, he's more proud that his wife, Esther Tronchoni Simo, won 1st Place Animal Kingdom.
