Sue Spargo celebrated childhood memories of Africa with her quilt, Folk-Tails. It must have been a wonderful childhood as the quilt is filled with interesting animals and beautiful flowers, embellished and embroidered in Sue's enchanting way. Lovely quilt. I would have like to learn things that this quilt didn't show. Like where in Africa she lived--was she born there--if not why she was there--how old was she when she came to the U.S. Africa is an amazing place, but it is so big and diverse. I have been there twice and was awed by seeing the animals in their natural habitat. Fortunate to have visited a number of the National Parks.
