Sue Spargo celebrated childhood memories of Africa with her quilt, Folk-Tails. It must have been a wonderful childhood as the quilt is filled with interesting animals and beautiful flowers, embellished and embroidered in Sue's enchanting way. We love Sue's wool work and the details are really fun. Enjoy!

Lovely quilt. I would have like to learn things that this quilt didn't show. Like where in Africa she lived--was she born there--if not why she was there--how old was she when she came to the U.S. Africa is an amazing place, but it is so big and diverse. I have been there twice and was awed by seeing the animals in their natural habitat. Fortunate to have visited a number of the National Parks.
