Traveling in an RV allows one to visit a variety of quilt shops while the DH and dog can relax.  No more rushing because you know they are out there WAITING for you, lol.  They have a bathroom, kitchen and bed if you decide to stay and take a class!!!  The stop in Sedona was breath taking and is definitely a bucket list item especially for quilters.  The natural beauty alone is inspiring. I have been working away on my big stitch hand quilting project and I am pretty happy with the results.  I keep hearing Gwen Marston say that she embraces the pucker and that is now my chant!!!

And then, there is The Quilter's Store.  A nice variety and if you are looking for that project that inspires memories of the Southwest...this is your place!  They also are a big supporter of the Quilts of Valor program and carry a wide variety of fabrics for those projects.

Sedona Quilter's Store appears to be on an infinite loop the viewer cannot pause, stop, or close within the viewing frame. That said, great store!

I just returned from a trip to AZ. Our trip included Sedona and The Quilt Shop. I have been to this store twice. The last time was 4 years ago. I really enjoyed the shop and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Keep sharing your wonderful finds.

Visited Sedona a couple of years ago and went to this shop with my favorite quilt buddy. We had the time of our lives. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The selection of patterns and fabrics was inspiring so we bought lots of fabric and patterns, so much so that we had to buy an extra suitcase to bring it home on the plane.

Please don't use the jiggly border/frame anymore. I got dizzy several times trying to watch the slide show.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful road trip. Especially this Sedona part as we use to live there in the 80's and there was no quilt shop...grin. Safe travels, and I cannot wait to get back on the road myself.

Love the shop! Sedona is pure Heaven and the store the frosting on the cake. Thank goodness when I first went there, there wasn't a weight limit on on your luggage! Too far to drive from Houston.
