Which kind of quilter are you? Vote below.

Previously, we asked how you store your stash, what's on your design wallhow you quilt your quiltshow you baste your quilts, how you hang your quilts, where you get your quilting ideas, how you feel about your scissors, and whether you use a rotary cutter or scissors.

Today we want to know: Are you using a basic sewing machine? OR, have you moved on to the sophisticated, technological marvels of today?

Actually, I use both depending on where I am and what I'm sewing. I love my big machine in it's table at home but prefer to take my featherweight to community sews and my basic Bernina to quilt retreats. Just lucky enough to have a few!

new to using a Viking Topaz50 and I like some of the features on it. But I also use a Viking Rose, probably over 10 years old. It's been good to me!

I love my nearly 40 year-old Bernina. It works as well today as it did when brand new out of the box.

I sew on Singer 301s and Singer 15s. I have a 70s Bernina 830 for zig zag and free arm. The stitches are the best, I can fix and maintain them myself. Started with a bells and whistle Pffaf and soon had issues. Now my vintage machines hum all the time for me.

I have both. Bernina 1260, quilters edition 440 and singer featherweight.

I have two computerized Bernina sewing machines and love both of them. One has been around for 15 years and the other for almost 4. I love to incorporate the embroidery into my quilts, either the designs or actually quilting with the embroidery unit. Love, Love, Love my Berninas.

I love all the electronics! Anything to make things easier! I love my Viking 980Q for most of everything I do!

I have one of Bernina's earliest Bernina computerized machine a 153 and love it after 20 years of quilting on it.

I have a computerized Bernina, but prefer to do all my piecing on a 1957 Singer 201K.

I do my piecing on vintage hand cranks, but I also piece on my Featherweight (1939). I only use my modern electric for straight line quilting & binding.
