Which kind of quilter are you? Vote below.

Previously we asked how you stored your stash and what's on your design wall. This week we are actually looking at 3 kinds of quilters. This week we want to know how you quilt your quilts. Are you a hand quilter? A Machine Quilter? OR a Pay-by-Check quilter?

Loving the challenge of all phases of quilting, I finish some on my longarm, but if a quilt would be considered heirloom type, it will be hand quilted.

I rent a friends Long arm and do blind flange binding. But I am just starting to do my own on small quilts with the Bernina 440 that I bought in 2009 at the Los Angeles Super Seminar.

I usually rent my friends computerized Gammil and do E2E, then blind flange the binding on my Bernina 440. I bought the 440 on Alex's recommendation at the 2009 Super Seminar and am reluctant to do my own quilting. Have just started to push myself on expanding but it is just so easy to zip it, baste the edges, hit a few buttons and let the machine do it's job.

I have longarmed most of my quilts...very early quilts were tied.
I recently tried ruler work on my domestic machine and quickly learned I don't like it...I will stick with NoLa, my Nolting LongArm.

I'm a virtual quilter--lots and lots of ideas and more fabrics than I can every use--even though I gave away so much! Made the mistake of promising I would finish my taxes before quilting again. Dumb move.

Small projects by home machine. Everything else is by check.

Ditto to what dquilter48329 said. Though it appears that I prefer project starting more...

Very small projects by machine; everything else by check.

I do my quilts by machine; long arm and a Bernina with stitch regulator for small quilts. For me it is like free form drawing with a huge pencil. It is a time I relish and love when I finish a quilt especially for someone else that brings a smile. Icing on my cake.
