Seven of the Amazing Nine met up this year to see their quilt, Koshare Indian Dancer, hang in the Houston International Quilt Festival. The Amazing Nine are Carol Moellers, Karen Fitzpatrick, Mary Kay Wegner Runyan, Dana Shanes Lynch, Wanda Myers, Cindy Neville, Mary Bula Holm, and their missing companions, Hanne-Grete Brink and Bridget Dunning Lilja.
The quilt was created from a photograph by Ricky. The dance the Indian is doing is called Sneaking Up. The Koshare are a touring group of Boy Scouts who perform Native American dances and tell a story through dance.
