Ricky's new book, Kool Kaleidscope Quilts: Simple Strip-Piecing Technique for Stunning Results, is hitting the bookshelves so we thought we'd revisit the TQS Member's Kool Kaleidoscope quilts.

If you want to learn more or see them all, head on over to Show & Tell. If you see one you like, drop a note to the member who made it. It will make their day.

RJR reveals the next quilt in the Pixie Party series! Celebrate the new year with Color Crystals. This classic quilt design features two wonderfully traditional blocks, that together create the illusion of sparkling color crystals. Featuring fabrics from Robyn Pandolph’s Faded Splendor collection, the quilt finishes at 74" x 92," a perfect size for a twin bed.

The pattern was designed by Daniela Stout of Cozy Quilt Designs, and offers 3 additional quilt sizes.

You never know what you might find when you're poking around in the TQS Forum.  Alex found this in Tips and Discoveries.  All you need are  two curtain rods, a cookie sheet, some super glue and viola! A tray for your longarm.  Have you visited the TQS Forum yet?

3625_00alex_hair.jpgSomeone is having a birthday today!  Here is one of Captain John's favorite pictures of the birthday girl.

John says,

"One of the great things about visiting your Mother is that she has all those pictures you sent through the years. They are on this amazing photo display area with food inside.

Here is a picture of one of Alex's hair styles.  I really liked this one.  Not only is she cute, but we never had any spider webs in the house."
