The Amazing Nine have done it again! Their quilt, Koshare Indian Dancer has been accepted into the Houston International Quilt Festival 2012.

It is based off of a photograph that they saw at a 2012 Ricky Tims retreat. Ricky gave them permission to use his photograph. From this photograph a beautiful Native American Indian was born.

Each of the original Amazing Eight (Carol Moellers became the Ninth this year) did a fractured panel from a line drawing which was Ricky's photograph. The upper left panel is Cindy's; next to that in the upper right is Dana's;  below Dana's on the right is Wanda's; to the left of Wanda's is Bridget's; below Bridget's is Mary Kay's; to the right of Mary Kay's is Hanne-Grete's; below Hanne-Grete's is Mary Holman's and to the left of Mary's is Karen's.

The panels were joined together by Cindy.  Cindy then sent it to Carol Moellers to add the borders. She sent it to Hanne-Grete to quilt.  Hanne-Grete send it back to Carol to bind, take photos, and send in for submission.
