When peace like a river
Name of Maker: Ruthann Benge
When peace like a river - This was started in a workshop with Shirley Stutz. Fabrics are re-purposed from a Buckeye Beauty class that I "flunked", but worked beautifully here. Gives you peace when you look at it.
Pink Champagne
Name of Maker: Ruthann Benge
Pink Champagne - This is a class sample. I forced myself "out of my box" of colors and used two focal fabrics in pinks and oranges. Fun!

Surrounded by love in golds - Pam E at Polka Dot Pincushion in Richfield, Ohio, helped me pick these wonderful fabrics. They are mostly from the line "Nest" by Moda.
Surrounded by Love
Name of Maker: Ruthann Benge
Surrounded by Love - This was made to decorate for Valentine's Day. I love the pink and red together, most of them are by Moda fabrics.
INDIAN SUMMER
Name of Maker: Mary Lou Harper
INDIAN SUMMER - The inspiration for this quilt came on the 75 mile drive home from the Indian Summer Quilt Show in Fargo, ND. There were leaves everywhere and geese flying in the autumn sky. There had also been a quilt in the show with leaves based on a 2 inch square grid but it was too uniform (boring) for my taste. I totally designed this layout in my EQ quilt design program. That was just as much fun as making the quilt itself. After quilting in the ditch I hand quilted veins in the leaves.
Painted Ladies
Name of Maker: Jan Reed
Painted Ladies - Inspired by a class on fabric painting given by Gail Thomas of The 3 Sisters, I chose a pastel batik on which to paint a cluster of flowers. I was really happy with the way the paints Gail uses were so manageable, especially since this was my first time painting anything, let alone on fabric. The flowers seemed like they could use some added interest, so beads were added by hand to the centers of some. The inner quilt and outer border are completely separate units, joined with more hand beading. The fronds on the outer border are also painted, and the picot bead edge treatment is hand done.
Rock Art of New Mexico
Name of Maker: Marnie
Rock Art of New Mexico - This quilt was made for the New Mexico Quilter's Association State Fair Challenge with the theme "Enchanted New Mexico." The rock art is painted, then covered with organza.

La pieza de organza tiene una fotografía que he imprimido en ella con el ordenador, es transparente, detras no lleva ni boata ni trasera. The Antique Linen fabric is from early 1900, is made from non-industrial loom. The piece of organza has a picture that I printed on it with my computer, it is transparent and has no batting and backing behind.

froggy - Applique quilt made for a baby shower. The mother was doing the nursery in frogs and wanted things to match. I designed and quilted this for her. Not one of my best works, but she really appreciated it!
Windows on Venice Rose
Name of Maker: Susan Lawson
Windows on Venice Rose - I made this quilt for my son's college graduation. I was inspired by the photo's he shared while studying abroad in Europe. Bella Bella Quilts Venice Rose pattern was exactly what I was looking for. The center star was designed by my husband, and the "windows" are a fussy cut white on white motif with a golden pieced ribbon in the outer border.

Name of Maker: Westin Lawson
Pooh quilt - My son, Westin (19yo), made this quilt for a co-worker for her baby shower. This is his 4th quilt and I think it is absolutely adorable!!
