Santa's Midnight Runner - This is a table runner made of batiks. It has a pieced background and turned applique for the santa, reindeer and sleigh. It has tiny jingle bells, beads and buttons on it. I used a variety of free hand quilting techniques including bobbin work and the use of hologram threads to create an illustion of the snow blowing in the wind as Santa passes in the night sky.

Serendipity-Do-Dah - This is my second quilt. I had planned on using a different border. But I started practising making the checkerboards. To my surprise, the checkerboards fit as a border. Hence it was what I call serendipity.

Freestone County Signature Quilt

Freestone County Signature Quilt - This quilt was made as a fund-raiser for the local small museum. It raised approximately $7000. The center medalian honors Freestone County Texas which was established in 1851. The center blocks ($50) honor pioneers of the county, anyone who lived in the county 1900 or before Anyone who has ever lived in the county names were placed in the blocks on the outside border ($25).

Favorite Feathered Star - A combination of large and small feathered star blocks. Made to prove to myself that I could do it. It was a wonderful experience and even though time consuming and a 1/4 inch seam is mandatory--It was a quilt that went together easily. Thank you Marsha McClosky.
