This quilt was made as a fund-raiser for the local small museum. It raised approximately $7000. The center medalian honors Freestone County Texas which was established in 1851. The center blocks ($50) honor pioneers of the county, anyone who lived in the county 1900 or before Anyone who has ever lived in the county names were placed in the blocks on the outside border ($25). |
