Santa's Midnight Runner - This is a table runner made of batiks. It has a pieced background and turned applique for the santa, reindeer and sleigh. It has tiny jingle bells, beads and buttons on it. I used a variety of free hand quilting techniques including bobbin work and the use of hologram threads to create an illustion of the snow blowing in the wind as Santa passes in the night sky.
