Name of Maker: Diane Nagle

Victory Garden Beauty - I made this design and quilt from a tablecloth panel that I put in the center of the quilt, and repeated the swag motifs from the center to an outer border as applique. The stars reinforce the 4th of July genre of the fabric line, called Victory Garden, designed by Eleanor Burns, for Benartex. This quilt made my first Fons & Porter issue, Nov/Dec 2008. I was thrilled!

Stuart's Forest
Name of Maker: Linda Lennemann
Stuart's Forest - This is for my grandson...an avid hunter just like his dad. I used just a simple block design with the bear paws stepping up the quilt. The fabric is assorted camouflage.
Orange Soda Memories & Cozumel Stars
Name of Maker: Linda Lennemann
Orange Soda Memories & Cozumel Stars - My oldest granddaughter's quilt. She had just returned from a trip to Cozumel and was completely enamored by the colors of the waters and landscapes so those were the colors she chose for the fabric. I had taken part in a mystery and really liked the patten so that was the one I used as the base for this quilt. I then printed pictures of each family member and a orange soda bottle (her favorite pop) and appliquéd them...making each face look like bubbles coming from the bottle. She loves it and it's never far from her side.
Bethany's quilt
Name of Maker: Linda Lennemann
Bethany's quilt - This is Bethany's quilt and she picked out her colors and the pattern. I then chose all the fun fabrics. I used the window treatment with the fusible so there wouldn't be a stiff backing.
Alivia's Squares
Name of Maker: Linda Lennemann
Alivia's Squares - This was for my granddaughter at Christmas last year. I let her pick out her colors from my stash and the pattern she wanted from my many magazines. Then I purchased more fabric based on her choices. The pattern was much smaller than what I wanted so I added several more blocks and the wide border. Border and backing is Fairy Frost.
Name of Maker: generik4u
"Til My Arts Content - This is my first quilt totally made of scraps from old pillow shams, work shirts & pants, muslin, a bed sheet, and an old mattress cover for batting. Since this was my first quilt, it was supposed to be a practice run, but I think it turned out REALLY well, so I've decided to post it. It has very sparce quilting, but for my first try I'm happy with it. Maybe one day I will add more quilting to it. Will have to wait and see, but fornow I'm happy with it just the way it is.
Stars across Australia
Name of Maker: Elizabeth Chadwick
Stars across Australia - This was made for my Great Niece, Nellie. I had made the star block in a class a few years previously out of pastel Fossil Fern fabric. At the time i thought they were a bit pale and forgot about them. I found them and thought a nice clear pastel blue batic would help to brighten the whole thing up. the quilting is done in a pale mauve and is of Kangaroos, platapus and Tassie tigers. the quilt is going to England and Nellie loves the colours.
