My oldest granddaughter's quilt. She had just returned from a trip to Cozumel and was completely enamored by the colors of the waters and landscapes so those were the colors she chose for the fabric. I had taken part in a mystery and really liked the patten so that was the one I used as the base for this quilt. I then printed pictures of each family member and a orange soda bottle (her favorite pop) and appliquéd them...making each face look like bubbles coming from the bottle. She loves it and it's never far from her side. |
