Butterflies and Bubblegum - Fullsize bed quilt with two matching pillow shams and two throw pillows. Snowball blocks frame each butterfly. Hand appliqued, hand blanket-stitched. This took First Place in the Applique Division in my quilt guild show in 2005.
Flag Cross for IRAQ
Name of Maker: Aunti Pam of So Calif
Flag Cross for IRAQ - Made for my military naval chaplain friend who was accompaning a Marine buttalion out of San Diego to 6 months in IRAQ during the war. He specifically requested a cross quilt to hang up when he did open air services. Was made from 4" squares of flag bring, then red with white stars as a single row all the way around and the background was the same print of the red but in navy blue. Chaplain Dan Hall made it home ok. The quilt is hand tied with crochet thread at each corner intersection.

Stars and Stripes and Eagle Feathers - Made of Moda fabrics in red, cream and blue. Machine quilted feather designs. Log cabin blocks are arranged in a barn-raising pattern. This quilt was made for fund raising for a Veterans Memorial Park.

GULL GIRL - We had such frivolous issues in our youth. We were all "babes" once, strutting our firm , lithe bodies on the beach in bikinis and baby oil. But something wonderful happens to a woman when she reaches middle age. We can relax, enjoy our ripe roundness, wear a sensible bathing suit and commune with the surf and sand and seabirds.
Gothic Corset

Gothic Corset - Gothic Corset was made for entry into the MQX 2007 quilt show in the Special Occasion Vest category where it won 1st place. The corset is made of black velvet quilted in copper metallic thread with the Victorian Motif pattern by Ellen Munnich on my A1 Elite/Compuquilter longarm. A ball gown skirt was made to accompany the corset.

Slice of Florida - Slice of Florida is my interpretation of the traditional block, Robbing Peter to Pay Paul. This quilt features applique, trapunto and crystal embellishments. There are over 1700 crystals on the quilt. All of the quilting designs are my original designs made just for this quilt. The quilting was done on an A1 Elite/ CompuQuilter longarm. Slice of Florida won 2nd place at MQX 2007 in the Quilts of the Future category.

Quilt for Ross - This is a quilt-as-you-go pattern. I took a class in it from the designer, Susan Nelson, at the Minnesota Quilters Show in 2006. I made it for my best friend who had been a great support to me and my family during difficulties with my daughter. I selected "woodsy' prints to represent time spent at his family's cabin on Lake Michigan.

marathon t-shirt quilt - This quilt was made with 16 t-shirts. I used wonder-under and fused the t-shirt to muslin. Then pieced them together with cotton material borders and sashing.
