Tamara's Choice Mystery Quilt - This quilt turned out better than I expected. I am not use to using just three fabrics.

Christmas Between Friends - I had collected Christmas fabrics for a few years. I had promised to make my daughter-in-law and Christmas quilt. I also made a table runner with the left over fabrics.

Is it done yet? - This quilt is made for my grandson who has been patiently waiting in line for his quilt to be made. I made the quilt 6 strips wide to fit a double or queen bed. The picture shows it on a queen bed. The gradient is 14 different fabrics from the center square which is longer than the pattern. It took 1/2 yard of each color. It's the most fun pattern I've done so far and went together fast. The backing is Moda KS Troubles Gold and the quilting makes it so beautiful the quilt can be reversible.

Climbing tribute - This quilt was made for my 21 year old daughter who interned for Exum Mountain guides in Jackson Wy. This was her 4th summer in the Teton region. She loves to climb and by the end of the summer she was hired by Exum to come back and guide for them next summer.

Rug Quilt - I saw a rug in a magazine and pulled the page out of the magazine. I've had the picture a few years and finally translated it to fabric.

Tree of Life - Hand dyed green fabric, machine appliqued tree and leaves.

My version of "Size really does matter" - This was a Quilt Colorado class project. Lots of fun. George has a great technique and it was fun to make.

Circle fun - Playing with stained glass ideas and created this for the long skinny wall at my brother and sister-in-law's new home as a housewarming gift

antique linen treasure - An antique linen table runner, quilted using ideas from Cindy Needham's book and show, then hand dyed and stitched to another backing, quilted again and now it is going back to my mother, the daughter of the original owner of the linen.

Flying Together Through Life - FIrst of an ongoing series of miniature quilts in memory of my husband Marvin. All commercial cotton fabrics, machine embroidered leaves and cattails, machine quilted with silk. Ducks inspired by a Dover coloring book picture.

Genetic Engineering

Under the Sea - Made this for a guild challenge. You could make anything quilted as long as it incorporated two items from the dollar store. My two items were the yarn used for the seaweed and leaves off fake flowers. I'm giving it to my sister Nancy for Christmas, shh she doesn't know.

3-Panel Nativity - Fused applique with bias tape used for black outline. 3 panels complete this quilt project.

Ellie's Quilt - I have always wanted to do this pattern, and once I started changing 3 stars to hearts, other changes came along: I changed 1 star to a bow, 4 stars to different kinds of stars, added a border of flying geese with pinwheels on the corners. The flying geese were going to be in "wild goose chase" blocks, since this is a third baby and that pretty much describes a house with that many children!

primarily crazy - this quilt began as a practice putting together crazy quilt blocks. using batiks instead of silks, woolens, or velour, in an attempt to bring the blocks into this period of time. the back is unique as well. i used a large cross stitch hand embroidery, in red, to mimic the piping on the front to attach the borer and the rod pocket.

Autumn - I picked this pattern up at the Mancuso show in Greensboro, NC back in 2000 or 2001. I put it away for a couple of years, then when I was home recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, I put it together. It was the first quilt to go on the longarm once I started back to work.

Emily's Quilt - I added corner blocks and sashing to Tracey Brookshire's Bento Box pattern.
