Leftovers
Name of Maker: me
Leftovers - This quilt is our couch quilt. I made it using only the scraps from a quilt I made my daughter for Christmas of 2005.
Genna's quilt
Name of Maker: me
Genna's quilt - Made for youngest daughter for Xmas 2005. Backing is the same color as border.
Christmas Tulips
Name of Maker: Ila McCallum
Christmas Tulips - My version of Spring Star, called Christmas Tulips, is 13" square. Spring Star is from Judy Martin's book "Shining Star Quilts".
Spencer's Lone Star
Name of Maker: Patty Misch
Spencer's Lone Star - This is my SIL's (Patty) first quilt! She made it for her son's (Spencer) 21st birthday. It turned out so wonderful, nice and flat and beautifully pieced! I had the pleasure to quilt it....faux trapunto in the setting triangles and blocks, freehand feathers in the center and borders. When my SIL saw the quilt she loved the way it turned out. She then deciced that Spencer would have to wait to get the quilt when he got married...a 21 year old bachelor wouldn't appreciate all the work that went into the quilt...he needed a wife to help him understand how great this quilt is!! Poor Spencer....he got a nice utility quilt to love until he gets the wife thing! Tee-Hee!
Garden Path
Name of Maker: Diane Lowe
Garden Path - All blocks pieced on 1941 Singer 15-88 Treadle; hand-appliqued; long-arm quilted. Every year I make a large quilt as a Christmas present for a member of the family. This went to my BIL/SIL. I added a border (no border was called for in the pattern), because I wanted it bigger and I didn't really care for how it looked without one.
First Steps
Name of Maker: Beth Howard
First Steps - Just a quick, colorful baby quilt--I put flannel on the back so it would be super soft for baby.
Name of Maker: Sande LaFaut
"Becoming" - The theme of this quilt is from the Bible verse, "We know not what we shall become, but we know we shall be changed." The photos are my own zoo photos printed at home onto commercially prepared cotton sheets. Quilting is done with metallic threads and 30 wt. rayon. It is approx. 40" x 40". It also has sheer overlays behind the photos in the center section. This quilt won Judge's Choice at a local show.
Name of Maker: Betty Ann Seeman
"My Sister's Eyes" - Lucy's eyes are big and beautiful and I have always wanted to honor them with a quilt. Last year my skills finally matched my vision. I hand dyed the fabrics used.
Name of Maker: Sande LaFaut
"Fishing at Yellowstone" - This quilt is based on a photo that I took on a trip to Yellowstone Nat. Pk. a few years ago. It is done using mostly raw edged machine applique overlayed with some tulle and sheer fabrics for shading. The bison are hand painted right onto the background, the elk are hand painted then fused on, and the fisherman is hand painted then hand appliqued on. The quilting is done with 30 wt. rayon. This piece was a gift to my husband and also won Best of Show and People's Choice in a local quilt show.

Veggie Garden
Name of Maker: Sue
Veggie Garden - This quilt is a combination of two basic things ... comfort and food. I love the Veggi fabric patterns available and had fun making this quilt.
Log Cabin
Name of Maker: NA
Log Cabin - 25 1/2 x 25 1/2 quilt made for the Country Cabin directions in the Little Quilts All Through The House by Alice Berg, Mary Ellen Von Holt and Sylvia Johnson. Fun to make using scrap fabrics, lap quilted easily without a hoop. One of the log fabrics has faded greatly over time. It does, however, sit in a sunny spot near a window, beneath a Singer Featherweight.
Bear's Paw
Name of Maker: NA
Bear's Paw - I believe this is from a Quilt In A Day book of directions.
Mary's Quilt
Name of Maker: NA
Mary's Quilt - Made as a shop sample to showcase fabric and machine embroidery designs done on a Bernina 730E. To date the "quilting" is only machine embroidery, but additional quilting is needed.
Enchanted Garden
Name of Maker: Sherry Rogers-Harrison
Enchanted Garden - I can't stop....and have made another! This piece is 9x12 and was quilted on my APQS hand guided quilting system. The coloring was done after the quilting with markers.
Name of Maker: Betty Ann Seeman
"What's Outside Your Window" - I wanted to see what would happen if I combined Ricky's two techniques, Caveman and Convergence. This quilt is first in a series and the only one quilted at this time. It won a first place ribbon in our local quilt show in March 2007.
Hearts Afire
Name of Maker: Patsy Brown
Hearts Afire - I put this quilt together with fabrics in my stash. I quilted it with my HQ16 and PC quilter. I digitized a heart pattern to use in the quilting.
