Jacki's Unicorn Quilt
Name of Maker: Lyn Duhig (lduhig)
Jacki's Unicorn Quilt - Stack 'n' Whack in 5 purple and pink toned prints including a unicorn print. Sewn by overlocker. Intensively freehand machine quilted for Jacki's 7th birthday. A great opportunity to try freehand machine quilting, with a different pattern for each of the 5 different fabrics, including outline quilting the unicorns on one of the prints. Found a Sue Box Machine Embroidery design of a unicorn for the label and the centre of the remaining block that became a matching cushion.

Loose Roos
Name of Maker: Lyn Duhig (lduhig)
Loose Roos - Machine pieced hand dyed cotton wallhanging quilt with hand dyed cotton fusible applique, hand embroidered including "A few kangaroos loose in the top paddock" text. (Australian slang for someone who is a bit scatty or crazy - "He has a few kangaroos loose in the top paddock". Extensive machine quilting with specialty threads - gold for the sunset sky, variegated greens for the paddocks and variegated ochres for the surrounding outback land.
Kaleb's Bug Quilt
Name of Maker: Lyn Duhig (lduhig)
Kaleb's Bug Quilt - Whole cloth quilt. Printed bugs and their "frames" were outline quilted. Then the bugs were outline quilted (freehand) in black, and freehand machine quilting added around each bug using two different variegated threads (one for the ladybirds, one for the gnats) and as many different quilting designs as I could think of or could find in books, etc.
Star Patch Quilt
Name of Maker: terrimacp
Star Patch Quilt - I needed some art for a giant wall in my loft bedroom. This was my second quilt and I love the way it turned out.
Four Star Topper
Name of Maker: terrimacp
Four Star Topper - I had some fabrics leftover from a project, so I made this small table topper.
Rebecca's Quilt
Name of Maker: Lyn Duhig (lduhig)
Rebecca's Quilt - I'd previously made a similar quilt for Rebecca's older brother (Josh) when he was born and had initially intended making his in all novelty fabrics. When I couldn't make the light/dark thing work with so many fabrics I substituted bright blue and lime greens for every second quarter circle and quarter background. So when Rebecca was born ... they were waiting. Josh's quilt had the blocks on point and freehand spirals and zig-zag quilting (as did the original design in "Quilts for Kids". For Rebeccas the blocks were "straight" and the quilting more formal - feathered wreaths and crosses.
Ghana Orphanage Quilt
Name of Maker: terrimacp
Ghana Orphanage Quilt - A group of friends got together to make quilts for an orphanage in Ghana, Africa. We had fun together and were able to give many quilts to the director.
Crown Topper
Name of Maker: terrimacp
Crown Topper - I had a few fat quarters I wanted to use and decided to try out some curved piecing. The result is this topper for the towel rack in my bathroom.
Animal Safari Quilt
Name of Maker: terrimacp
Animal Safari Quilt - The original pattern for this quilt called for 1930's Reproduction Fabrics. My son wanted a jungle quilt, so I replaced the 1930's prints with animal prints. He loves it!
Americana Flag Quilt
Name of Maker: terrimacp
Americana Flag Quilt - I saw a bed quilt similar to this pattern in a catalog many years ago. I loved it and decided to make myself a wall quilt based on it. I made one for my mom and grandma while I was at it.

Two Holidays Runner
Name of Maker: JCMIT
Two Holidays Runner - This Table Runner is one of my first completed projects. I meant to make 2 seperate ones, but then realized I was short on backing material for one of them and decided to make it reversible! My guild was very proud of me for attempting it, as well as successfully attaching 2-toned binding without showing up with patches of hair missing from my head! LOL I'm really very proud of this. I entered it in a local quilt show as a "Maiden Quilter" entry, but did not win any prizes.
