lduhig Rebecca's Quilt - I'd previously made a similar quilt for Rebecca's older brother (Josh) when he was born and had initially intended making his in all novelty fabrics. When I couldn't make the light/dark thing work with so many fabrics I substituted bright blue and lime greens for every second quarter circle and quarter background. So when Rebecca was born ... they were waiting. Josh's quilt had the blocks on point and freehand spirals and zig-zag quilting (as did the original design in "Quilts for Kids". For Rebeccas the blocks were "straight" and the quilting more formal - feathered wreaths and crosses.
