Cub Lake
Name of Maker: self
Cub Lake - I started making this quilt for my son, and it was to be twin size. When I showed it to him he didn't really like the fabric. So I said, "that was fine, I would make it bigger and for myself!" Then I had to find more material. Searching on the internet I was able to purchase more fabric and make it King size. Then later when the quilt was finished I decided I wanted to make curtain for my room to match and had to look for fabric again. I found some in the cotton and was able to get enough to make a curtain and matching pillow. I bought extra this time incase I decide to make more accessories later.

Fishtery Reef - After making this mystery quilt, I thought it looked like sunshine in the ocean so I added machine trapunto mock bobbinwork fish with Razzle Dazzle and then added lots of stuff. Pansy Dish
Name of Maker: Linda Henderson
Pansy Dish - During a Judy Niemeyer class while I worked on another of her paper pieced patterns, Judy began piecing this quilt. I finished piecing it and did the quilting. The border pansy fabric originally had pink flowers. I thought pink and purple would go well together until I put it next to the gold background! So, I painted each pink pansy gold. The flowers in the center are hand appliqued.

Something Old, Something New - Traditional Dresden Plate using 30's Reproduction Fabric to commemorate a 50th Wedding Anniversary. Designed on EQ5.
On Puffer Pond
Name of Maker: Linda Henderson
On Puffer Pond - This quilt was made for our guild's challenge. It is mostly machine pieced with some applique for the tighter curves. The bottom blocks are from Judy Martin's Knockout Blocks book. Beading symbolizes the splashing water; and there are feathers in each of the four corners. Puffer Pond is in the Adirondaks in New York. My husband and I backpacked there and sat at the water's edge watching the loons dive for fish. This loon is doing his courtship dance across the water.
