Pansy Dish

Pansy Dish - During a Judy Niemeyer class while I worked on another of her paper pieced patterns, Judy began piecing this quilt. I finished piecing it and did the quilting. The border pansy fabric originally had pink flowers. I thought pink and purple would go well together until I put it next to the gold background! So, I painted each pink pansy gold. The flowers in the center are hand appliqued.
