Design Source - Description | This quilt was made for our guild's challenge. It is mostly machine pieced with some applique for the tighter curves. The bottom blocks are from Judy Martin's Knockout Blocks book. Beading symbolizes the splashing water; and there are feathers in each of the four corners. Puffer Pond is in the Adirondaks in New York. My husband and I backpacked there and sat at the water's edge watching the loons dive for fish. This loon is doing his courtship dance across the water. |
