Independence
Name of Maker: Kaye Hansen
Independence - Quilt was made for my brother while he was in Iraq, with the request for it to be continually passed on to other Americans serving our country in this war. Don took it to The Stables at Camp Striker on Christmas Eve, 2005. It is kept in the TV Room with a journal for any who appreciate the quilt to write a little about themselves... anything they want to write about how the quilt comforts them. Someday I hope to get the journal back, but I hope the quilt will be threadbare, having brought a lot of love and comfort to all who are away from their families serving our country.
