My Own Shop Hop Quilt - I bought a new red fabric each time I visited a quilt shop over 3 years. The biege is the same throughout. The block has 165 pieces and takes about 2.5 hours to complete. When I started, I didn't know how many blocks I'd make. I pieced a block each time I was on a retreat. I quilted it myself on my home machine using Signature variable thread.

Field Of Flowers - Raw Edge Applique

Knoll Lake, AZ - This is from a photo I took while hiking around Knoll LAke , Arizona with my husband. It was a long hike, but the beauty of the lake was well worth the effort. This is a special memory of a great afternoon spent together.

Plan B - Began as a mystery quilt, but I didn't love the revealed design. Used as many pieces I had already sewn for the mystery quilt as I could, and made something completely different. There is no pattern for the quilt.

Joseph's Coat - Made from 100% cotton plaid shirts purchased at the local Goodwill stores.

Aunt Grace's Circle of Friends - A block of the month pattern from last fall. Still deciding on how to quilt the top.

My First Quilt - My first quilt. A gift for my mother.

Circles Rock! - Using up complementary pieces of my hand painted fabrics, I randomly cut the circle sapes through four pieces of fabric, then mixed and matched.

Qulit of Many Colors - This quilt is all different blocks and each block is quilted different. It was a lot of fun and what I tried to do was use up stash but I really didn't make a dent in it.

Daisy Quilt 2009 - I designed this quilt using a set of "Buck a Block"(Triangles on a Roll) sampler blocks I had purchased from a local quilt store. I made the blocks a few years earlier but never incorporated them into a quilt. The blocks were all black and white. My local quilt guild (Cactus Patchers) has a raffle quilt for our camp getaways and I had volunteered to make one for our getaway. The theme was "Please Don't Eat the Daisies". The border and sashing fabric is a white batik with yellow daisies. It just seemed to make it's way to my sampler blocks and the quilt was born! I truly loved this little quilt and my talented friend, Sandy Strunk quilted it in a daisy pattern on her Gammill. Normally, I just love giving my quilts away but I think this was the hardest one to let go!

Highway to Heaven - totally my own design! Was asked to make a quilt for a bible study and this is what came to mind. the top measures 60X72

Red Delicious designed by Esther Alieu - I was so happy to find Esther's blog! She designed Red Delicious and it is a spectacular pattern. My guild is having our next show in June in Mobile and I can't wait for everyone to see it.

Bright Flying Geese - I designed this mini wall-hanging for our new lake house. I used the flying geese pattern and designed a paper piecing pattern for this mini quilt.

Alaska Fishing With Daddy - Made for my new nephew born May 5th living in Alaska with his parents. Dad is in the service stationed there for another 3 years. Thank You, Alex for the lovely pattern. It was perfect for this little boy...

Shira - Made for my friend who was overcoming cancer, redundancy and a horrible personal time. It shows her spirit being set free from these strictures and soaring into her future life.
