May Tulips - In 2009, members of the Baltimore Appliqué Society volunteered to make one-block quilts as a fund raiser for The Quilters Hall of Fame Celebration in July 2009. Each quilt was based on a Marie Webster applique design. My friend Karen Pessia and I volunteered to collaborate on one of these quilts. Our quilt, May Tulips, traveled to Baltimore to join the rest of the auction quilts before returning to its home with Karen.
