Peek - A - Boo Kitty
Name of Maker: Katie Gomez
Peek - A - Boo Kitty - This quilt is a sampler and I learned to do many techniques unique to quilting. It was my springboard. I had collected fabrics for many years and was determined to not have to buy anything to complete it. I had to buy orange for sashing because nothing else worked. This quilt also sprung me into the world of orange and I am grateful for that.
Cherries and Berries and Lemon Pies, OH MY
Name of Maker: Katie Gomez
Cherries and Berries and Lemon Pies, OH MY - I had 2 weeks to make a quilt for a fundraiser and chose Kool Kaleidoscope because I had wanted to try another way to make a Mandala Quilt. The very light colored fabric has musical notes to represent "Jam" - which is Nashville musicians part in the benefit. My nepher Louie is an "Angel" and I do all that I can to help Angelman Syndrome.
