Juggernaut - Juggernaut is the God of Transportation. When I was in India, I saw this cute face painted on the wheels or fronts of trucks. I painted the design with dyes and added hand embellishments.

Imperial Gardens - When I saw this border print I knew it would make a fabulous One Block Wonder.

Mack the Knife - My friend, Cynthia, at Iowa Star Quilts designed this mystery quilt and I made it for my husband's birthday.

Wedding Stars - Made for my granddaughter's wedding.

Aurora Star - I designed this quilt in EQ5 after playing with the Dakota Star block.

Galveston Sunset - This quilt was commissioned as a gift, and represents the view from the owner's home which was destroyed in Hurricane Ike. I needle-punched various fabrics and fibers to a piece of hand-dyed fabric over batting, and then machine-quilted. The dog and dock were hand-painted and machine-appliqued.

Hidden Stars - Wedding quilt for my son and daugher-in-law

Mountain Sunset - This art quilt was made by machine-needle-punching various fabrics to a hand-dyed background of cotton fabric and batting. The dark green hills are a thick velour, and the mist and clouds are combinations of sheer fabrics, silks, and roving. The trees in the foreground are rough-cut with no pattern and needle-punched down. Angelina fibers add some sparkle. Machine-quilted on DSM. This sunset view is one of our favorite places in the North Carolina mountains.

Carolina Woodland Spring - Cutaway trapunto, shadow trapunto, long-arm machine quilting, and painting of the quilted motifs with Tsukineko inks and fabric markers. The patchwork squares include hand-dyed and hand-painted cottons, commercial cottons, and Dupioni silk. Swarovski crystals and hand-sewn beads are scattered across the quilt. Original design.

Andi's English Enchantment - My first mystery quilt. Colors were favorites of my granddaughter. Had fun keeping up with the month-to-month directions.

Starburst - This quilt won Best of Show and first place at Valley Quilt Guild 2009 quilt show.

Megan's Crib Quilt - Her mom asked for a quilt with Purple and Butterflies. Her older brother and sister have baby quilts by me each with hearts on them, so this followed in the tradition.

Megan's Wall Quilt - This is the companion quilt to Megan's Crib Quilt for my newest Great Niece Megan.

Ryan's Pineapple Quilt - Wedding quilt made for my granddaughter. Scrap quilt made all of blues and a few greens, and off whites.

Pinwheels Galore - Baby quilt for a neighbor's third child.

Louisianna Cabin on the Bayou - This quilt was made for two Challenges. The green fabric used for the water,in the leaves and on the house was the QUEST QUILTERS challenge fabric. The Conway challenge was to make a quilt from something like a picture or vase that inspired us.
