quiltnc Galveston Sunset - This quilt was commissioned as a gift, and represents the view from the owner's home which was destroyed in Hurricane Ike. I needle-punched various fabrics and fibers to a piece of hand-dyed fabric over batting, and then machine-quilted. The dog and dock were hand-painted and machine-appliqued.
