Strong Shared Roots

Stippler
Stippler

This quilt was made for a friend in memory of our childhood and her mother. We would spent many happy hours climbing the birch trees in her back yard and swaying in the breeze. Her mother always supported our wild escapades, including building a tree fort high up in the branches. Can you see the steps we nailed in the tree to get started on our climb? We share strong roots.
