Cycling on the back roads of Wisconsin last summer, I spied twin baby swiss calves and snapped photos of them. This is my first cow quilt. Initially, I had created the outline to capture the realistic image of this little babe, but then decided to challenge myself to work more whimsically. The quilt uses my Picture Image Appliqué process.
