rochellew I began designing this quilt as a project for a class I took.  As I was making the flowers, I had the opportunity to enter a show with a fabric challenge using a floral fabric.  I used parts of the challenge fabric for the centers of the flowers. I sent a piece of the background fabric to Spoonflower and had it printed in a larger scale so that  I could use it to  applique the flowers on top.  The quilt won the challenge and allowed me to buy more fabric!
