Design Source - Description | This quilt is based on a drawing from my sketchbook of "nesting embryo shapes". I used EQ6 to design the quilt. It was originally made for the Benartex Piece, Love and Quilts Challenge, and was a finalist in the contest. (It incorporates fabrics from the Benartex Woodstock and City Girl collections) It has also been shown at the 2008 Pacific International Quilt show, and will be exhibited at the 2009 Quilter's Heritage Celebration in Lancaster, PA, April 2-5. I gave a photograph of my quilt to my doctor's office, and they displayed it in their examining room, and it has brightened many a patient's visit. |
